Gary Nepper Sensei
Nepper Sensei brings to bear over forty years of professional martial science
training and educational background to provide a unique training experience for
his students. His broad background and extensive instructor training make him
uniquely suited as a sogobudo instructor.
He is the Washidokan Kancho (director) as well as the Michigan ISBF chairman,
responsible for coordinating the local Sogobudo federation chapter. He
continues to train and teach regularly at the Washidokan dojo and abroad.

- 1964 Nanakyu (7th Kyu) Kodokan Judo
- 1969 Shodan (1st Dan) Yoshinaki Aikido
- 1990 Received Shidoin Instructor license from the USA branch of Seishinkan International. Much more than a blank belt, the Shidoin license is an actual professional certification in martial science instruction.
- 1995 Received Basic Instructor Certification in Modern Arnis (Remy Presas)
- 1997 Sahdan (4th Dan) World Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation
- 2004 Promoted to ISBF Michigan Director of Operations - Commissioned personally by John Viol Shihan
- 2007 Promoted to Godan (5th Dan) ISBF Sogobudo. Currently the most senior ranked sogo practitioner in Michigan.
